Husqvarna Introductory Course for Computer Machines (1 Day)
Designed for individuals with any computer range of Husqvarna sewing machine to gain confidence using computerised machines. The general care and maintenance of your machine is discussed as well as all the various features of the machine.

A hands on approach helps you explore the various utility and decorative stitches and the combination of such stitches with basic programming for those machines with memory capability. Sewing threads, needles and helpful sewing aids are also discussed to help you gain the most from your new machine.


Husqvarna Designer 1 ESS (2 Days)
This is a two day course where the first day explores the specifics of the sewing machine, stitches, programming, adjustments, "sewing advisor" both in the everyday requirements of sewing as well as the creative aspects.

The second day deals with the hoop embroidery, both in the straight forward embroidery facilities and the creative programming features of the built in customising. Students are encouraged to explore various interfacings and embroidery haberdashery to discover their own preferences.


Software : Customising & Digitising (2 Days)
A two day course where one day explores the many font styles, different shapes, hoop selections, fill stitches composition and combinations of embroideries and writing, template placements, 3-D quick views and creative expressions of these features.

The other day class explores both quick and selected stitch fill stitches, borders, stitching techniques (i.e. single, running, double, triple and underlay stitches), angle variation, 3-D view as well as editing (insertion, deletion, colour changes, overviews) to help you create your personal embroideries. Each student has their own computer to work on.


Foot Days
Designed as single day classes to use the various feet in both the utility and decorative capacities Foot Days explore the many applications of several different feet. These classes are available to any Husqvarna sewing machine owner.

Foot Day 1 (1 Day)
Zip foot, elastic foot, raised seem foot, 5 groove pin tuck foot with twin needle, edge joining foot and roller foot.

Foot Day 2 (1 Day)
Shell rolled hemmer, 5mm hemmer, blind hem adjustable, D foot, J foot, open toe foot and teflon foot.

Foot Day 3 (1 Day)
Quarter inch patchwork foot, 7 hole cording foot, candlewicking foot and piping foot.

Foot Day 4 (1 Day)
Eyelet plates, bias binder, darning or stippling foot (depending on machine), braiding foot, narrow braid foot and eyelet cutter.

Foot Day 5 - Heirloom sewing (1 Day)
Exploring the techniques of heirloom sewing using the 7 groove pintuck foot, braiding guide, gimping foot and edge/joining foot.
