| Getting To Know Your Sewing Machine (1 Day) |

A one day class for you to bring your own machine and learn the basics of threading,
tension, stitch adjustments, care and maintenance, both utility and decorative stitching
as appropriate for the machine. Helpful sewing aids, threads and needles will also be
addressed. This class stimulates those new to sewing, and revitalises the lapsed sewer.

| Free Machine Embroidery (4 Days) |

This course offers the basic in machine free motion embroidery, cabling, drawn thread
work, shadow quilting, trapunto and other techniques.

| Machine Embroidery Group (4 Days) |
|
This is a monthly embroidery group for students that have completed the 4 day machine
embroidery course. Taking forward skills learned to a more advanced level.

| Playdays |
|
Playdays are one day classes exploring the more creative and playful aspects of embroidery
utilising both utility and decorative stitches on your machine. There are several
different playdays addressing very different techniques for an end result that is
quite remarkable. These classes are designed to be non-specific to the make of
machine you have.

| Playday : Luscious Fabrics (1 Day) |

A one day course utilising scraps of assorted fabrics, embroidery
threads and utility stitches to create a uniquely pieced-effect fabric of your own
design.

| Playday : Bags (1 Day) |
|
A one day course using creative fabric (such as the above luscious fabrics class) to
produce beautifully embroidered bags that are uniquely your own.

| Playday : Hoop (1 Day) |
|
A one day course concentrating on the creative aspects of hoop embroidery including
applique and cutwork, specialised threads and fabrics to produce anything from personal
motifs to 3-D embroidery.

| Playday : Jiffy Cover (1 Day) |
|
A one day course exploring another avenue of creative embroidery resulting in very personal and
unique book covers.
