Designed for new overlocker owners to gain confidence in the basic
operation and care of your new machine. The course covers threading, changing needles,
basic stitches and adjustments and care and maintenance of your machine. It gives the confidence
that is essential for success.

| Overlocker Stage One (6 Days) |
|
This class is run on a one day per week basis over a period of 6 weeks. It will continue
building confidence to thread and learn all the functions of your overlocker. It will take
you from basic seams to the more advanced uses and applications such as introduction to
threads, 2,3 or 4 thread overlocking (as appropriate for your machine), rolled hems,
flatlock, knitted fabrics, sewing corners plus much more.

| Overlocker Stage Two (6 Days) |
|
Continuing from stage one and with the same one day per week basis, this class teaches
you how to explore the versatility of your overlocker in such ways as industrial hem finishes,
elasticating, lace insertion, pin tucking, patchwork plus lots more.

| Overlocker Garment Construction (4 Days) |
|
Designed as a hands on course on a one day per week basis, for the practical application of
professional garment construction using your overlocker. PREREQUISITE: Students must have completed a
minimum of the Stage One 6 week class.
